During his long and difficult road to recovery we were blessed to have the care and much needed support of Chai Lifeline.
Chai Lifeline volunteers visited our son daily throughout his treatment, providing us respite as parents and giving Sean the will to fight.
During the summer months he participated in Chai Lifeline Camp Simcha. Sean was surrounded with staff, children and families who understood this hard journey. The the positive affect on us as a family was amazing.
In honor of Sean, we have created a team to join with Team Lifeline in the Miami half marathon. We plan to raise both awareness and funds to help Chai Lifeline maintain their necessary work in supporting children and their families struggling with this dreaded disease.
In 2014 Sean's friend, Israel, was also diagnosed with cancer. Israel will be participating in the Miami Marathon as well. This is an
opportunity for Israel as well to give back to an organization that did so much to him during brain surgeries, radiation therapy, chemo therapy, and
other treatments. Moreover, Chai Lifeline gave Israel the amazing opportunity to be a kid again!
Unfortunately, more and more kids joining Chai Lifeline family.
We need to help this wonderful organization to continue to give this kids and their families the support they need.
Team Sean will run the half/full marathon on January 24, 2016. We need your help to raise $35,000 by December 15, 2015.
Your support is very important to us and the children of Chai Lifeline. Your donation will help children and their families cope with the diagnosis, treatments, and the aftermath of serious pediatric illness. Please donate now.
We look forward to keeping you informed of our team progress.
GO TEAM SEAN GO!!!!
Best regards, Team Sean
