A native to France, Mickael currently lives in NY, completing his MA in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. Born and raised in a family of North African descent which has lived in Paris, Mickael learned and practiced Hazanout and Singing, while absorbing the melodic flavours of East and West.

Erev Shabbat: Starting with Shir Hashirim and Tefila @ 5:38pm with our guest Hazzan Mickael Elhaik.

Shabbat Morning: Tefila @ 8:45am lead by our guest Hazzan; Dvar Torah by Rav Steven Exler @ 10:30am or so; Kids Tefila Raffle and prizes continue, so bring your kids; Anniversary words of blessings possibly with Psalm 23 in mind; Delicious kiddush for all after tefila; Plus a surprise, maybe.

Shabbat Afternoon: Minḥa @ 5:20 followed by Seuda Shelishit and Zemirot shabbat with our guest Hazzan and YOU; A milonet baParahsha; And concluding with Arvit and Havdala at 6:39pm.

Dvar Torah - Reb Yossef (Yossi) Ben-Harush:

Elisha and the Sunamit  - Between Miracles and Pragmatism. Reb Yossef, to be b”H a Rabbi, is currently a Judaic Studies Teacher at SAR High School. Yossi was born and raised in the holy city Jerusalem. He studied Torah at Yeshivat Orot Shaul of Rav Yuval Sharlo; served in the IDF’s Golani shelanu; studied Jewish Thought at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Jewish Education at Mikhlelet Herzog; and completed his Masters in Jewish Thought about R' Ahrale Roth. Yossi is a former educator at the Hartman High School for Boys and a former teacher at the Gap-Year program, Havruta. He is currently working on his PhD dissertation about Hasidism in Eretz Yisrael in the interwar period.
