Parašat Bemidbar

20 May 2023 * 29 Ḣodeš Iyar 5783

44 BaOmer * כ”ט אייר התשפ”ג

This Shabbat we start Sefer Bamidbar, with parashat Bemidbar, and celebrate the Unification of Jerusalem and the liberation of Judea, Samaria, and the Golan Heights in the 1967 Six Day War, a name which echoes the Six Days of creation.

Participation Prize Shabbat for ALL KIDS will be this Shabbat Parashat Bemidbar, rewarding kids for their participation in tefilot, with great thanks to Judy Friedman for toy-prizes; to Riverdale Judaica for gift-certificates; and to Ami Aharon for encouraging, monitoring and prizing :)
