From Moses to Washington @ 7:00pm - A talk with Professor Dr. Lionel Yehuda Ifrah, father of Myriam Elefant, on the Hebrew roots of the American nation. Dr. Ifrah has taught at the Sorbonne and is Professor emeritus of English literature at the University of Versailles. He was also the religious leader of the Jewish community of Saint-Cloud, France for over 30 years. He currently lives in Jerusalem with his wife Esther. He recently published in Paris « From Moses to Washington ». At the Main Sanctuary.

After Minḥa Mila baParasha: Understanding a word in our parasha. This week “Yevarekh’kha - יְבָֽרֶכְךָ” - What does the word mean; how old is the Priestly Blessing; and what are we expecting to be blessed with? Basic (and love of) Hebrew is sufficient. At the 2BM.
