Yaldaynu Announcements - October 2nd, 2015 

Alumni Update

This week we are introducing a new feature in our newsletter. Over the past three decades Yaldaynu has been privileged to see amazing children enter and exit it's halls. It is incredible to see how our students grow and develop throughout their years at Yaldaynu, and it is truly remarkable to hear about them as they embark on their futures.

Yoshi Gadasi attended Yaldaynu in 1997-1999. Both his mother Brooke (who served as a former Yaldaynu Board President) and his father Tsuri (of Ben Hur Moving) continue to support our school. Yoshi moved to Israel after he graduated from SAR High School and today, is serving in the Israeli Army in the elite Givati unit. Yoshi is still in contact with friends he met at Yaldaynu.

Our brothers and sisters in Israel are facing incessant terror attacks. The murder of a rabbi and his wife in front of their 4 children.  Shooting and stabbing on a public bus. Ramming cars into people waiting at a bus stop. From out of nowhere, more and more random stabbings.

We cannot remain silent. We must declare loudly and clearly: Israel, you are not alone - we stand with you!

Said Rav Avi: "This is a time for all Jews - from right to left, for all Americans - Republican or Democrat, for all people of moral conscience to cry out and declare, 'enough.'"
